Menken Generators was started in 2010 by John Menken during his pursuit of the highest quality generator for his home. After doing weeks of research, he discovered that Kohler Generators were the highest quality generators around. He found when he drove around places that absolutely needed reliable power such as hospitals, industrial parks, and first responder facilities, more often than not, Kohler Generators were being used for backup power. After deciding to use Kohler for his own home, he became a little frustrated at some of the "corner cutting" other installers were doing. So he decided to team up with top notch electricians and create Menken Generators.
